Though primarily in a supervisory position, I have spent the last 3 years immersed in an environment of creativity, problem solving, water and very small rocks.
By nature I never worked well with others. As part of the cgCraft team, however, I thrive on the abundantly supportive and innovative atmosphere and feel that any conflict is simply a reflection of myself.
I have always prided myself on the ability to think outside the bowl. Since my first day in the office my hunger for originality, artistic expression and algae pellets has always been satiated.
I have always had a driving interest in design and a subtle gravitation towards programming.
After a few small freelance projects, my first big break was leaving home for a six week internship at a small marketing firm on the other side of the country.
The experience led me to the Maine College of Art where I earned my BFA and made a number of strong business and design connections. It was also at this time that I discovered the zen of css web design which enabled me to bring balance between my design and programming interests.
After spending three years studying business at Keene State College, I realized that I needed to find some direction. I spent the next four years traveling abroad and spent much of my time sketching and reading.
I’d always had an aptitude for design and when I returned home, I had a clear direction and decided to pursue a career in design. I was accepted to, and eventually earned my BFA from, Maine College of Art.
I have always been equally as left brained as I am right brained and with web design I found an avenue to exercise both in harmony. I enjoy programming code every bit as much as developing clean design.
